(VMware) OS X 10.9 DP4 not booting installer

Post by YoshiFan111 »

Hello.

So recently I've been wanting to install OS X 10.9 for some reason... So I went ahead and downloaded it and when I finished downloading it, I went and made a VM and then fired it up but it wouldn't boot and instead would just give me this "EFI VMware Virtual SATA CDROM Drive (1.0)... unsuccessful" error over and over again. I have applied the unlocker patch and I have put the smc version to 0... It still won't boot... (screenshot below)

Please tell me how I could fix this problem as it is very annoying.

Thanks,

The image is not bootable. Try another one.

Try set:

Code: Select all

smc.present = "FALSE"
