[Offer] A few recent pickups

Post by dsdude123 »

Hi all,

Have a few new items that I acquired recently for the FTP. The first of which is Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 Battle For Europe. We already have this title but the version I have was distributed by Xplosiv and features different media art as a result. I also acquired the Aircraft Powerpack which is an addon for Flight Simulator X, 2004, and Combat Flight Simulator 3. Please let me know if we want these on the FTP!

Very nice, we would very much have these preserved :).

Long overdue (it's been a crazy quarter) but these discs are now up. I had some issues dumping the images for CFS3, there seems to be some kind of copy protection resulting in read errors for quite a few sectors at the beginning of both discs. Definitely seems to be copy protection since the read errors occur in the same sectors on both discs. The analyzer in Alcohol 120 says it's SafeDisc but despite what settings I used and what machine I used both result in the same read errors.

Yeah, SafeDisk 1.x uses bad sectors at the start of the disc to prevent copying, the SafeDisk preset in A120% just makes it skip read errors. They will still be logged.
