try the sound blaster 16 drivers off creative's website, try Windows 2k's drivers, if they don't work, try NT 4's drivers.

Out of curiosity, why don't you want to use 86box, PCem, or QEMU (or possibly other emulators or hypervisors)?Kacpi045 wrote:VPC2007,If You Want Say To Me Use 86box or PCEmu i Ignore it.

No "photos" because I really don't feel like installing this build, but I made the instructions more clearer for you.
Step 1: Boot up Windows 2000 build 2000.
Step 2: Use the CD menu and locate a Windows XP ISO.(Service Pack doesn't matter)
Step 3: Open drive D. Navigate to the I386 folder. Locate a CAB named driver.
Step 4: Find a file named ctlsb16.sys. Extract it to desktop.
Step 5: Open My Computer. Double click on the C drive. Navigate to the WINNT folder, Click on show all files on the banner that appears on the left. Double click on System32. Click on show all files on the left hand side.
Step 6: Double click on the Drivers folder.
Step 7: Minimize the window, when you are on the desktop. Move the icon that says ctlsb16 towards the taskbar button that says drivers. Drag the ctlsb16.sys from XP to the Drivers folder.
Step 8: Answer yes when Windows asks you if you want to replace it.
Step 9: Restart. If you see a yellow speaker on the taskbar, that means you are good to go!

If there's a yellow speaker is on taskbar and you hear sound, it's working.
If the yellow speaker is not there and and you don't hear sound, then you have not done it properly.
