9X Virtual machines softwares ?

Hello, I would like to know what are the recommended virtual machine software to install windows 9x versions?

I do use for most (when it's not Good too) VMware 14 Pro.

Just not anymore (except VirtualBox, which is not really recommended).

In my experience I can highly recommend you Virtual PC, always that you are on Windows 7. Otherwise, better go emulating with PCem or 86Box

previous posts have mentioned that either VMware or VPC is ok.
However don't use VMWare14 because the legacy binary mode is removed and you have to apply the AMDk8 patch.

Anyway 86box is a good way for emulating (not VM - -)

Actually even 86Box and other emulators create virtual machines. Of course, that doesn't mean that 86Box and other emulators do is virtualization.

What is THAT? As a side note, Windows 9x plays just fine with VMware (but not always I think).

Isn't software non-count?
if i can remember there will be a Windows Protection Error ,and the solution is apply a patch or turn off VT-x in vmware(however not in 14)
