This is scheduled for 18:00/19:00 this evening.
I am once again moving my main drive storage to a different enclosure, for those of you that know my setup I am moving to the QNAP enclosure as it's more power efficient than the overpowered dual Xeon fileserver I am using now.
I estimate the FTP will be down for approximately two hours from the time of shutdown.
The forum will be up, and I will be (more or less) available on Discord if any questions arise.

Re: Scheduled FTP downtime
I love QNAP hardware. I have an older TS-269L at work running as a last measure backup with a couple WD Red's. it also handles video encoding for some internal projects. Hope the transition goes well.

Re: Scheduled FTP downtime
The archive is back on!
It wasn't easy, nearly destroyed the rack mounts because the server cabinet decided to jump off its rail and bent it badly... so every time I am pulling out that thing I will be sweating blood... On top of that I had to move the rack cabinet (which weighs a feathery 250kg) which was not easy either...
I only have to do some minor tweaks but that shouldn't interrupt the access.

Re: Scheduled FTP downtime
Will the new volumes be de-duplicated?
Re: Scheduled FTP downtime
There are no new volumes, I only moved the existing drives to a different enclosure. And I always use deduplication or I would need 4 more enclosures just to hold all the drives needed...
