Suggestions: Discussions about hardware

I have seen many forums on this site and they all relate to software. However, about half of them also includes discussions about hardware. I was thinking of maybe adding more boards that are specifically for hardware such as discussions for processors and video cards. What do you guys think about this idea?

That's because we deal with software preservation only, and anything else goes into the offtopic or general sections.
