I noticed that this wasn't listed in the online releases catalog, and would like to know if this site would take in this Xbox 360 alpha build of Halo Wars. This was a private Xbox Live multiplayer test that was code-named "Sway", and it was conducted over a year before the final game released, specifically on February 21, 2008. There are plenty of differences from this build to retail, and I've done a full analysis of the build on my YouTube channel if you want more information. Otherwise, this post would be an essay.
The folder I have provides a cracked xex so players can actually run and play the game. It offers 3 maps: Chasm, Repository, and Frozen Valley. AI bots are the only way to play against opponents, and the UNSC is the only usable faction.
From what I understand, this was only distributed digitally, and no discs have ever been found.
