Hello, I've been experimenting with 4039.
It's quite more stable than people realize, however, one problem is that the VMWare Network Drivers or Hounsell's don't want to work with it. (At least for networks)
How can I get the internet working or get the right driver for it?
My last resort is to use Command prompt to install .INF files from a torrent that has drivers. (On a VM, of course)
Thank you,
Fox

Have you tried the Drivers from longhorn.ms?

Add ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000" to the .vmx file of the VM. Just remove ethernet0.virtualDev = "vmxnet".

My new place doesn't have an RJ45 jack near me. It's over a 100 years old. :/ Any idea on how to get Wireless Fidelity to work?beta.a.brian wrote:Add ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000" to the .vmx file of the VM. Just remove ethernet0.virtualDev = "vmxnet".

uh what? It uses your existing wireless connection but makes the VM think it's an ethernet connection with a different network adapter.
