Is this Windows Vista build possible to install?

When I try to install this one, setup goes well until 71% percent in expanding files, then I get an error.

I tried it multiple times, once without the product key, once with the product key, and removing the $OEM$ folder, using the takehome installer, installing Home Premium and then finally, Virtual PC 2007.


This must be happening because of a corrupted file in this build.

Yeah, your copy is probably corrupted here. Try downloading it again and see how it goes.

Next time I try this build, I think I should use the 64 bit version instead.
My computer has an Intel Celeron processor, so I have no idea if x64 Vista would work on it.

On a second check, it does seem the x86 build does have problems getting to install. The amd64 build has no problems here though, so go for it.
