Firenze Research Lab OEM disks found on eBay

Post by dsdude123 »

Found the following eBay listing for MS-DOS 5.0:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Microsoft-MS-DO ... 2456463465

As far as I can tell it's just a standard MS-DOS 5.0 disk set with Firenze Research Lab OEM markings. I did some research and all I can find on this OEM are some old FCC IDs that show they appear to have manufactured 486 and Pentium machines between 1993-1996. Anyone know anything else about this OEM?

P.S. This doesn't appear to be on the FTP, so if anyone wants to pick this up and add it now would be the time. There's only one copy left.

Well it's only $19 so you're welcome to buy it.

Looks like one of them has already been sold, so it's looking good. :) (Unless it was bought by someone else, but one is available.)

One was already sold when I found it. I would pick it up but the budget is really tight right now. Maybe if the other one doesn't sell and it gets relisted I will consider it but definitely not something that can be dealt with now.
