The reason why i don't buy it all by myself is because i live in Venezuela and i can't buy stuff from Amazon because i only have Venezuelan Bolivares not United States dollars!GENERiC wrote:Yes, for sure, he will buy it just to upload the ISO for you. Why you don't buy it yourself?

I also do not have United States dollars, but I can still buy stuff on Amazon. You don't need US currency to buy anything there, they accept international credit cards and many other methodsSuriPolomareFan2003 wrote:The reason why i don't buy it all by myself is because i live in Venezuela and i can't buy stuff from Amazon because i only have Venezuelan Bolivares not United States dollars!GENERiC wrote:Yes, for sure, he will buy it just to upload the ISO for you. OTOH if you really see something on Amazon and cannot buy it for any reason, I'm sure that people here (me included) will help you and buy it for you if you send them the funds (+ shipping to Venezuela). If you ask nicely, I'm sure people can help you
I upload stuff to archive.org from time to time. See here for everything that doesn't fit BA

Keep in mind that Venezuela has a hyperinflation and people in there are very poor - according do Wikipedia, $1 equals about 5000 venezuelan bolivars (at least 3 years ago, it can be much more now), while the goverment say it's about 10 bolivars. According to a random Polish site, bread costs 48 bolivars - you can buy at least 100 loafs there for $1. He just can't afford this.

People in BA will occasionally decide to purchase pre-release software advertised on eBay or elsewhere and later share it, so it's not a bad idea to ask.
In this case, however, I doubt anybody will be interested, because the disk you are looking for is a public beta that is almost definitely already available in BA.
The only added value of buying this preview is that it comes with a book describing all of the features of the then upcoming version of Windows, which is interesting vintage material, but not of an especially rare kind.
For this reason I encourage you to gain access to BA or find betas of Windows 98 on other places on the internet.
Darkstar: remember that for people in certain other countries it can be quite difficult to buy items from abroad; for example, there may be restrictions on the purchase of foreign currency. Not everybody lives in Europe or the US!

Not to mention that Venezuela has pretty bad civil unrest and really bad riots and protests.
