Windows Seven Disc ???

Post by Daniel »

I have found this screenshot a long time ago, but Im not shure if it is real or not.

I don't know any Vista/Server 2008 build with "060530-1900" in it's buildtag so maybe this is a disc of Windows Seven!?

They make new builds almost every day so it could well be a Vista beta that no-one outside of MS has ever seen - I'd say it's too soon for a "7" build, I doubt that they would have produced an entire build before even Vista was finished.

the date corresonds to a 54xx build before 5456
most likely 542x to 543x

Maybe, but the only reported builds I can find are:

5384.winmain_beta2.060516-1930
5384.winmain_beta2.060518-1455
5384.20.winmain_beta2.060531-1915

(from Wndows Vista Builds List)

not likely, most builds built from the winmain_beta2 lab doesn't have a time stamp ending in -1900, while winmain builds at that time most tags ended in -1900, a tap build 5361 did, 5456 did and so did 5472.
