Last night, ie, December 29, 2011 it became known that the assembly of a candidate in the official beta version of Microsoft Windows 8 Beta was signing and signed (Sign-Off), and so the official beta version will be assembled: 6.2.8175.winmain.111217 -1215
So once December 12, 2011 we reported on the early stage of signing the Microsoft Windows 8 Beta: "the future beta build will be collected up to Christmas ie until December 24, 2011," that we see what happened December 17, 2011 .. .
It is a device (tablet and mobile phones) with this assembly 6.2.8175.winmain.111217-1215 will be holding a Sinovski Steve (Steven Sinofsky) and Steve Ballmer (Steven Ballmer) at Consumer Electronics Show CES 2012 that will take place from 10 to 13 in January 2012.
Microsoft's partners will receive this assembly at the end of January 2012.

Exactly - I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was released a few months later, once it was relatively outdated. Remember that even many of the released Windows 7 builds were rather outdated by the time that they were released, yet were still new to us ("us" being the former OSBetaArchive communities, such as BetaArchive and other such communities of which also branched off from the remains of OSBetaArchive).

Also, remember that the same was even true of the earlier Windows 8 builds, of which we received before Build 8102 (Developer Preview).

Some bugs of build 8175
1) Win+R, then type msconfig, go in startup tab, and click on "Open Task Manager" and you get a "Task Manager has stopped working"
2) In IE10, go on youtube, open 3 tabs with a video, get a BSOD.
3) Touch Keyboard is crazy, and if you do a fast typing, he crash.
4) Software issue: just launch cpuZ make crash your OS.

Maybe my particualr customisation, but I get this on ANY site with IE10. I am an IE fanboy, but am using FF as my default inWindows 8.

According to Winunleaked.tk,

We know the 8175 isn’t the beta sign off, Microsoft continue to work on it.
Here some date from the roadmap:
From today to Jan 21th = Pre-BETA
23rd, Windows 8 enter in Beta Escrow.
From 23rd to 28th, testers will vote for the Beta final build and then sign off the Beta.
30th, the Beta will be showed during an internal preview.
Targeted build number: 8200.winmain_win8b1

Also they said on 16 December also that the Beta was almost ready and ~8175, but now they contradict themselves with this post.

It is a cool story, because I want a free domain for a personal site. Oh and I don't plan on becoming a news source for anything with a co.cc domain. You'll find my forum has a .net domain anyway.

Well as I don't rely on information on this build (8175) exclusively from canouna its too early to say if this build will leak. The information I have is too sketchy when its closer in I'll provide more info on this personally I'd rather wait until the public beta. All the sources I have say that 8175 is indeed the pre-beta gold but thats hardly new. Sorry Canouna I just try to get my info from as many people as possible

How would you know when its compiled..Is it somewhere in the build tag. Hopefully or at least in one of the beta's in Windows 8 you can change the wallpaper of the Metro start screen as well as the coulor. Employees have already been fired over the leaks of Windows 8. I think Windows 8 build 7955 is abandonware, i dont think microsoft will need it
