Now, I was under the impression that "Windows Longhorn" was Windows Server 2008. But this link seems to imply different: http://www.osnews.com/comment.php?news_id=17975
Anyone care to clear things up for me?
Windows "Longhorn"
Longhorn was the codename for both WindowsXP's and Server2003's successors. The client version was later renamed to Vista, but the server version which is likely to be called "Windows Server 2008" is still called "Windows Server Code Name Longhorn" or "Windows Longhorn Server". So officially, Longhorn is refering to Windows Server 2008.
That "Longhorn Reloaded" is an unofficial release based on an improved Longhorn alpha build 4074.
