[LEAK] Microsoft Windows 8 M1 6.1.7850
Re: [LEAK] Windows 8 M1 6.1.7850.winmain_win8m1.100922-1508_
hey when you guys installed, did you get the win7 or win8 EULA? The win8 i got from BA FTP server gives me the win7 EULA. But everything else seems to be just like everyone else. Installing on my spear PC now to see if i get the same stuff as i did on my VM.

That is because that the Windows PE is from Windows 7.

but how come i see some people showing the save build but with the EULA saying Windows 8?Rob Jansen wrote:That is because that the Windows PE is from Windows 7.

Because they have the original ISO image with the original Windows 8 EULA. We have a rebuilt ISO image and whoever built it didn't have a copy of the Win8 EULA.lunar21 wrote:but how come i see some people showing the save build but with the EULA saying Windows 8?

Well,
The Radeon HD 6xxx drivers installer in some semi-b0rked way. Control Center doesn't work, but the driver itself does.

You'll have to have the original Windows 8 install disc.
Goodbye.

You get the Windows 8 EULA if you start the setup from within an Windows Environment (WinPE, calls setup.exe from the Windows PE Version), if you run it without an running Windows, it extracts the files needed from install.wim and not boot.wim.

definitely, the setup is from Windows 7 but as we know now, install.wim is from the original build.
