EvNik i have to dissapoint you but 3825 is from IE 5.5, and 5111.2 is just a recompiled file, otherwise it wouldn't be in 5111.1. In 5111.1 the only thing that could be an earlier neptune build is 5095.1 (tosdvd.sys), everything else (e.g. 4026 etc.) is just from IE 5.5.
I'm afraid you are not right as well. First, IE in Neptune uses version 5.00.2919.3800:

... and there are some system files with such version either, related to IE eg:

... while I can hardly find any mention of version 5.5 (except th logo) in the IE. This is also to prove this:

-Why do you call this software "beta"?
-Because it is better than nothing. :-)

what i meant were IE 5.5 files in ME, as many people (meaning me as well in the past) mistake them for neptune builds, which they arent. a few examples:
-2919.XXXX
-4134.XXXX
-48XX.XXXX

The only two build numbers that could be from Neptune and not from IE 5.5 are 4925 and 4928. See here for details.

The reason why you can find files from 9X in NT and vice versa is because some apps were ported from one platform to another to reduce work... Still image device monitor in ME 2332.2 is an example, as it was ported from Neptune 5022.1...
