It's a final which means it is Build 950 AKA the kind they use sell in stores in 1995

Only difference is, is that this one is designed for OEM companies, ie. Dell, Hewlett Packard, eMachines, etc.... And may have a more customizable install.

It's 4.00.950a (aka Windows 95 OSR1/Windows 95 with integrated SP1) .. I forgot to upload it sorry, but i do have it and there are some nice tools on it. (all the documentation is on the disk aswell)

Is this a full Windows 95 install ISO ? I mounted it and it looks like a load of folders and no way to install.... or is it an addon for Windows 95 ?

Last Question, what do I need in order to install this in VMWare ?

I mean, how do I get into DOS to start the setup? lol I can do it on a normal system.... is there a Windows boot disk I can mount as a floppy and get into DOS that way ?


EDIT - I have managed to get into DOS using floppy images in VMWARE

I have a problem, when I use a Windows ME boot disk with CDROM support, it wont start setup, say I have to reboot with a Windows 95 disk in

When I boot into DOS using a Windows 95 floppy image, there is no CDROM Support so I can not access the ISO

Exactly the same error with a 1.5GB VHD

Run fdisk, delete partition, then create it again and format it. Worked for me with Windows 98 SE
