Hi !
I installed LH Server build 6001 a few days ago... but it crashed just after the install (Vista crashed too). The screen just froze.
I knew that the problem happened because of my graphic card (this is an nVidia FX 5600 [128mb]). I went to nVidia Drivers web site, but it told me that "FX series are not supported".
Drivers for Vista RC2 can support my model, so I installed them, but it crashed...
So I tried to install the XP drivers (with compatibility mode) and... it worked.
But movies are slow... too slow. And when i try to run Day of Defeat, it's... unplayable...
I know it's a beta but I never had such problems with older LH builds...
How can I fix it ?

Thanks for your answer.
No, I didn't check for it... because I didn't find it.
I'm not at my flat this week end, so I will check it on monday.
One other question : after the XP drivers installed, the second sreen in the Display Settings wasn't there, but it was with the original but buggy drivers.
Is there any way to force it ? because I would like to use a dual screen in a few days.

I tried to find the hardware acceleration... but I didn't find it.
Moreover, my Biod date was set (because of the battery) to 2004... I get "3 days until activation".
So I put my date "back" to 2007 then I had a black screen... I don't know if it's because of the date or because of this helling nVidia...
Note : I installed the XP drivers just after LH installation.

You've maybe used up the grace period for activation - does the black screen have a dialog asking you to activate? Have you activated it? If not, you can get a Key from MS Connect that you should be able to activate with - just paste TE06-KVM4-3RM9 in the Invitations box and then go to the Product Keys link on the resulting page to request a key for LH Server.remi.serriere wrote:Moreover, my Biod date was set (because of the battery) to 2004... @Vista Ultimate R2 : Thank you for the invitation code
But the black screen didn't have any activation dialog...
I activated LH with the key Connect gave me a few minuts ago.
@empireum : i think your right...
Edit : after a reboot, I have installed K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and set "best performance : programs" instead of "background services", in the Advanced Performance Options (Advanced System Settings).
And movies nox run fine !!
I don't know where is the options to configure the hardware accelaration, anyway...
