Last fall, Microsoft ran a closed beta for the New Xbox Experience, the system dashboard overhaul that brought in avatars, Internet-connected menus, and greater system-wide functionality for features like music and system options. Before I do it, I have a question with this clause....

No. That would be very stupid for MS to do and would get a bunch of people upset. What it means is that you won't be able to go back.
