Vista Home Premium animated wallpaper

im searching for some animated wallpapers like "GIF" format but i cant find anything good
like a forest,rain,snow,city
please help

Good luck with that. As far as I know, gif limits the pallet to 256 colors.

What about Windows dreamscene, I think there exists a cracked installer for Home premium too.

I once set an HTML page with a flash movie embedded in it as the desktop background in XP, if you could find a way to use html pages as desktop backgrounds in Vista, it could work.

You were able to do it in XP because of "Active Desktop," which allows you to use webpages as wallpapers. This feature was dropped with Vista and above.

there is a app is called XP scene that can create animated wallpapers, http://www.techiequest.com/run-dreamsce ... -xp-scene/

Why not use VLC with the option "Enable Wallpaprer mode" on?

VLC player will be quite annoying, it should be on all the time for the wallpaper to work.
