Favourite OS macOS/Solaris
Here is my favorite work place
Love Solaris Express Community Edition, to bad they canned it for a less robust and far from stable OpenSolaris.
Plus you get a nice Office suite Star Office 9 for free (normally $49.95) and you can use the disc to install to OpenSolaris if you chose to do so. BTW in the next Solaris 10 release they will be omitting the Star Office install (so you have to buy it) and giving you a link to Openoffice instead. They (Oracle) want the businesses to purchase Star Office or to not pay anything and use Openoffice, less feature but free.
RED ALERT
Solaris 10 U8 and later will be free for only 90 trial then you have to stop using it or pay $$$$$ every year for support and security patches. Oracle and Scary Larry Ellison are screwing the Solaris and UNIX world with greed mongering. Sun was my favorite UNIX vendor now Oracle is my most hated enemy, I wish they would have canned the buyout from these crooks.

That's my server, Debian 5 and it runs like a rock. No, I don't use window managers (takes up too much CPU time) instead I use the console, ssh or direct on the server.

Anyone remember OPEN LOOK? OLVWM:
Yes, my Sun SPARCstation IPX 4/50 has OpenWindows (built on OPEN LOOK) running on Solaris 1.1.1. as its default Desktop Environment -- way better than SunView. I would post a pic but I don't think the floppy drive works and its MAC address is zeroed-out.
This is the only current pic I have of one of my previous Unix workstations' desktops: IRIX 6.5.22 running on an SGI Indigo².
