Post by SaT »

Microsoft Visual Studio™
Codename Whidbey
Beta 2

Microsoft Visual Studio™ Codename Whidbey

The release of Visual Studio 2005 and the .NET Framework 2.0 will make strides in all dimensions of application development. First, Visual Studio 2005 will set a new bar for developer productivity by tailoring the software development experience to the needs of the individual developer. This "personalized productivity" will deliver features across the development environment and .NET Framework class libraries to help developers overcome their most pressing challenges in minimal time. Second, Visual Studio 2005 will enable developers to apply existing skills across a broader range of application development scenarios through improved integration with the Microsoft Office System and SQL Server 2005. Finally, Visual Studio 2005 will deliver a new set of tools and functionality that will help satisfy the application development needs of today's large-scale enterprises.

What'd be the point of him uploading to somewhere else just so you can upload it here?

It'll take the same length of time for him no matter where he uploads it

Because If he uploads it in parts, its less likely that some random error or timeout or something will cause the whole transfer to fail making him start back from the beginning, if its in parts and one part fails to upload the entire transfer isn't shot, just try that part again...

don't worry if the file gets corrupted as i think it is now i always add the recovery record to all my rar files as a backup.
so if any of you find the rar corrupted just repair and it should work fine

and as for making it parts...
like hounsell says its going to take me the same in here or other place.
however im thinking on using one of my servers to transfer the files and then re upload them here.
