Hrmm, it looks like a clone of iTunes to me. Only thing I dislike is it having the play/pause buttons on the bottom menu... I mean, if you're going to clone an application then do it fully, not just clone it then move some of the buttons to a much more stupid position (to make it look more original at the same time making it harder to use)

Nice find though, I do love the detail used to clone the Apple site and iTunes.

I remember trying Songbird back in '05 or '06. It was slow at the time and I found I just preferred iTunes overall. I would try it again, but I'm happy with foobar2000 on my PC.

It's an open source media player, designed to behave similar to iTunes, integrate the internet a lot moar, and it's built with XUL.

It sucks. Winamp, iTunes, Audacious, and BMPx are all a lot better than this.

I don't know how fond I am of having Firefox open when all I'm doing is listening to music. I'll stick to Winamp and Rhythmox.

You don't need Firefox open to use songbird, it just runs with XULrunner.

songbird doesn't do a good job for labeling songs for your ipod
it also can't do a thing (that i don't remember) that itunes could.
