On which date do I have to change before I can setup this build in a VM?

Something on or just after the compile date normally works - you can get the compile date from the properties of setup.exe

I set date to 2003-01-01 and it works

thx for your help. This build is great. There are some cool features I missed in XP. This is a great WinXP SE

yeah, perhaps someone is porting the explorer with WPF-Previews to XP
