It's on my site. http://www.monkey-hole.co.uk/files/os/d ... ago058.zip. It's for VirtualPC.

Rather than waste time starting another thread, I've dug out the VHDs I
have of 58s, {my last fix before OSBA closed, never released} 73g & 81...
73g has CD-rom support 58s & 81 doesn't...
It looks like I included the vmc's with each rarred package...
These were made on VPC 2004 Sp1...
Shall I up them all to a server here... or just the 73g, seeing marktuson
asked for it in a PM...

Just the 81 one, if that's OK. That way (if it's alright with you) I can put it on the website for future reference. It might save you a bit of effort, and I will, of course, give you the credit for the file. Is that OK?

Thanks.
Have a day.

dean corse: Why? It won't work if you try and run it through DOS. Download the VHD file and open it in WinImage, then you can extrct any files you want from it.

Betaliker111: As far as I can see Chicago 224 is broken. It's missing the setup's system files, though it could possibly(?) be fixed by putting the 224 cabinet files onto a slightly earlier setup disc... Opinions?

Do you have a full set of install files for 224? The ones on the server are, as I said, incomplete, but I'd like to set it up myself.

That VPC image is ready to boot.

But you can extract files.
Open it with WINIMAGE 8.0 or higher.

Yes, WinImage will do the job for extracting from disk images.

However WinRAR is able to open some archives.

Open the VHD file in WinImage, and them press <CTRL> + X to extract to any folder of your choice.

I use WinImage mainly for the ability to add boot sectors to images. Then I can burn/write them to a disk of some sort and then I can use it on a real PC without the need of an extra boot disk.
