That's pretty awesome! I've been into Longhorn for a while as it's probably during one of the most interesting timelines of Microsoft (heck even found some build numbers myself)
I would love to see someone recreate all of the themes and versions from each time period of the Flash Demos as they were basically the peak of what Microsoft wanted and interest lots of people.
The only thing I would wish for would be a Working sidebar, that would be replicated off some of the Flash Demos (feature intensive) which you could also personalize the theme of (plex/slate)
This looks super cool, I'd love a tutorial, especially for the first image! This would look great on one of my Vista laptops.
OK. So here se go!
For the first time, we need to get the theme.
The theme can be downloaded from this YT video: https://youtu.be/WGaD8aVpN8s
Before downloading, be sure if your PC/Laptop is 32 or 64 bits, and you have patched UXTheme.
(BTW UXTheme link if you do not have installed it: https://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS ... cher.shtml)
And yeah, the theme link is in video description.
Now to install the theme, just put it in Windows/Resources/Themes and you will need to put the theme here.
Ok, now you need to get “Karl Sidebar”. Link: https://www.deviantart.com/osmosisching ... -191202431
Just extract the files in a folder, and run the sidebar (Open Sidebar.exe.) See more in the “readme” files to add tiles and things what are there
I hope I helped you ! Enjoy it

Thank you very much!

How did you get that maximize and minimize buttons on the first picture?
The min/max/close buttons were embedded in the stream. This was I hack I did to try to replicate the appearance of the more transparent versions that existed prior to Vista Beta 2. It was ultimately removed from the final version of the theme because it caused issues like you see in the winver dialog which still shows the minimize and maximize buttons even though they don't exist along with the close button being 1px misaligned. You can also see how Pale Moon's min/max/close buttons are all misaligned as well.
