Hi, I was looking for information about WinXP SP1 and found the following site "Technet @ UCT", and I have a question about one of the files, "xpsp1_en_ia64.exe", that SP would be for the "Windows XP 64-bit Edition"?
Where can I download the SP1a for Itanium?

This makes no sense, Windows XP 64-bit is based on Windows Server 2003 (3790.1830 (srv03_sp1_rtm.050324-1447)) - the Service Pack 1 is already integrated into the final of it.
The only existing SP for XP 64-bit is the SP2, .....

Windows XP 64-Bit for Itanium Processors is a different product to XP x64.
There were basically three versions
Windows XP 64-Bit (ia64 version of XP)
Windows XP 64-Bit SP1 (ia64 version of XPSP1)
Windows XP 64-Bit 2003 (client ia64 version of Server 2003)
XP for Itanium was then cancelled in 2005, and there have been no further service packs.
Windows XP 64-Bit (aka x64 edition, or 64-Bit for Extended processors) was then based on Server 2003 SP1, but of course is for a completely different processor.

As grabberslasher said, the IA64 version of Windows XP is based on the same codebase as XP x86. The RTM of it thus has no service pack integrated. I have the ISO of XP_IA64 RTM and verified it.
