I am curious on downloading OSBA Operating System, but, I want to know:

What are the minimum system Requirements?

is it CLI? or GUI?

Does it work in Virtual PC?

I don't know a lot about osba os but it does have a GUI, i believe at one point it was built on darwin but im not sure, there are pics of it running in QEMU so id guess it runs under VPC.
Here is the screenshots page for it http://www.betaarchive.co.uk/screenshot ... Alpha%201/
There it is shown running on emacs but it may have changed

It is a customized build of darwin ( Mac OS X's OpenSource part).

Is OSBA OS still under development or it went down the drain with OSBA?

OSBA OS is a project I started a while back (and stopped working on when OSBA collapsed). The build in the screenshots is pre-alpha 1, which is not much more than Darwin 8.0.1 with X11, blackbox and a few applications. It doesn't run on VPC, but it does on VMware and QEMU.

Someone should keep working on this, this has a huge amount of potential.

But, I will probably get told "leave it dead" like WinBoards and etc. etc. etc.

If you want, go ahead. I'll upload the sources to one of the FTPs.
