If you are referring to hinatahyuuga's desktop, I'd say it looks like some customized style of Windows 7. Kinda looks like a combination of Windows 7 and Mac OS X, IMO. Just a guess...

Been awhile since I posted here. Upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 recently (like today):

I'm surprised that my laptop from 2012 can still run Windows 10 flawlessly (although I did upgrade the ram to 8 GB).

Ah yes, the times when older browsers couldn't handle .css files for modern web pages very well. I'm guessing it's because BetaArchive's CSS file usually works well in IE6 and up, the era when the website first started :P

My main machine, running Windows 10:
Image

And my Voodoo3 system running good ol' 98SE. The photo is a bit older, as I have replaced the K6-2 in the meantime (it died) with a Pentium 200 MMX.

Image

I also had a 486DX-50MHz in the works, which I was going to install either Chicago or Win95 RTM on, but sadly I can't get the motherboard (Chicony/AEI TK-8498F, Socket 3) to POST at all. Will probably be replaced with a Pentium 133-based i430TX machine if I can get a PCI graphics card to run on both Chicago and 95 RTM.

EDIT: Here's my laptop (Dell Vostro 1015 - C2D T6670, 4GB RAM and a 500GB Hitachi HDD). Yeah, that's Windows 7 SP1 with the Longhorn 4074 theme :D

Finally fixed up my main, although it still needs an LCD cable that's coming from china (and it'll take a while).
For now I'm using an HP L1710 with it, since we don't have any other monitor around the house.

Here's my main desktop's wallpaper for now:

Image

If anyone asks, that's a special wallpaper known as "Bliss10". It's a customized wallpaper that combines the Windows 10 style with Windows XP's "Bliss" wallpaper. I found that wallpaper on the internet and thought it looked cool.

A really messy desktop :P .
EDIT:

NT Desktop. I'm going to reinstall everything since regional settings aren't working. For some bizarre reason once I change to my locale it displays lines instead of characters, but for now that's that.

No, Windows update doesn't work. Force applying a set of Windows 2000 updates, manually installing WUMGR 3.0, and installing IE6.0 SP1 all didn't help. I don't think it's possible to use App Verifier to get WUMGR installed normally since most apps made for 2000 or newer usually just crash due to missing functions in kernel32.dll, and I can't get it working since the Windows installer service refuses to work. That's probably another reason why I need to reinstall.

It doesn't look too messy to me, well, other than the numerous amount of icons on there, some being scattered :P
