Top Gear

Post by Beta Freak »

I haven't really watched it before I got this box set with 3 DVD's in it as I really got into racing and cars this year.
Anyone else like it/watch it?

Topgear is the only reason I pay a TV license. And the only program for which my TV (PC) gets turned on.

Bloody fantastic program. Not much useful info about the cars mind, but the three presenters (clarkson, hammond and may) work well together and are howlingly funny.

Never missed an episode of the "new style - 2001 onwards" series / episodes

Sorry if this offends but I thought this was genius.

Also the cock-o-meter on 10X10 was rather genius too.

Top Gear is absolutely brilliant, if anyone else hasn't yet seen it... go see it

Even if you're not a big car fan it's seat-wettingly amusing, Top Gear forever!

What? The original image was at that forum? so?
It is a TV program in the UK, anyone can watch, record and take images... its not like someone owns the image

The BBC could be said to own the image and request its removal, but they don't seem to really care anyway as they don't ask for clips of their shows to be pulled from YouTube. I'm very tempted to remove the link as it's little more than advertising that other site as far as I can see

They're often the ones that post them to begin with under the BBC name.

Isn't the BBC a government organization (and thus its IP belongs to the British people)?

I love Top Gear! It's too bad it doesn't come on standard cable in the U.S.. It does come on most digital cable tiers, but even then BBC America shows only old seasons at odd times. I usually end up on the internet getting my Top Gear fix.
