How to Install xxx Driver for All Builds
As a general guideline, you can try running the driver setup under Compatibility Mode (e.g. Windows XP) -or- try using the INF file directly.

How to Install ATI Display Driver for All Builds
NOTE: This example is based on the Radeon 9700 Pro card, but the steps would be similar for other cards.
  1. Download the latest OFFICIAL (i.e. non-beta) Catalyst drivers from ATI.
  2. Unpack the package, but DON’T install it.
  3. Go to Device Manager -or- Hardware and Devices.
  4. Right click on Radeon 9700 Pro.
  5. Select Update Driver.
  6. Choose to "Install from a list or specific location".
  7. Check "Search for the driver in these locations".
  8. Click "Include this location in the search:", and use Browse to select the path where the driver was previously unpacked.
  9. Press next and it should update files.
  10. Don’t restart and do the same for 9700 Pro secondary.
  11. Restart.
  12. Install Control Panel normally from the unpacked folder.
How to Install nVidia Display Driver for All Builds
  1. Download the display driver for Windows XP from nVidia.
  2. Extract the contents of the setup file with WinRAR.
  3. From the desktopm, right click Properties, select the Settings tab, then click the Advanced button.
  4. Now click the Adaptor tab, then click the Properties button.
  5. Click the Driver tab, then click the Update Driver button.
  6. Select the driver nv4_disp from the folder where you extracted the driver files to. Everything WILL install.
  7. Restart your computer, then everything should be fine.
How to Install SATA & RAID Controller Driver for Build 4051 (i think it works for 4074 too)
  1. You must have an extra ATA/IDE hard drive to install LH there first.
  2. Install your SATA controller drivers, but DO NOT REBOOT!!! Now your system must scan and recognize your SATA/RAID controller. Go and check it out at My Computer via right Click Manage, Device Manager, SCSI and RAID controllers. Your new disks must be there.
  3. From your controller, right click Properties, select the Driver tab, and hit the Driver Details button. See what drivers are used by your controller and take the appropriate actions. For example, mine are the following:
    • C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\SI3112.SYS = This is the driver that does all the work. Leave it.
    • C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\SIWINACC.SYS = This just the accelerator for the controller and also the reason for the problem. DELETE IT!
    • C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SILSUPP.CPL = This just a control panel entry. Leave it.
    4. Now restart your computer and if/when you log in again, you still have your SATA or RAID controller on, then everything is okay.
  4. Take a backup of your hard drive, extract it to your SATA/RAID hard drive, and you are ready! DONE!!!

If anything does not work, hit [winkey]+R and then "devmgmt.msc"

Benny, try to install network adapter XP drivers in XP compability mode(the newest ones may not work, so if they not, try older versions).
