Beta Updates?

Post by 4tified »

I know this is a silly question, but I must ask it. I'm pretty sure you can't or couldn't update Windows beta ANYTHING through the Microsoft website, but were there "updates" for consumers who got to test widespread beta versions such as Vista 5112 or 5600?...or did were those "updates" ONLY made through consecutive released builds? Sorry if this sounds weird...I've been working for 13+ hours and I can't add 2+2. Thanks for humoring me!

I think I understand that

Are you trying to ask if there where dowloadable updates to versions or did they just release a new build when they find a problem?

If I understood that right then yes there where *some* standalone updates for some builds, but then again if it was anything serious they would release a new build.

BINGO. I think you just converted that to English. Thanks!

They would just release it in the next build. there may be occasions where it is possible to get some updates for the closest release operating system and apply them manually, but otherwise betas and alphas cant really be updated.
