But remember that it could be dangerous with old plasma screens.

I've tried to remove an Toshiba with the old red screens ( before T3200 ... ) but the screen broke up in my hands and I heard a strange sound ( like gas ). It wasn't a CRT monitor but it's was strange. Two days after, a guy from a computer musem told me that could be very dangerous to broke up old plasma screens ...

Its dangerous because there is pressurised gases in the screen, gases you really shouldn't inhale...

LCD/TFT screens don't have this danger. LCD has liquid crystal which isnt all that dangerous. TFT uses thin film transistors so they're harmless as well.

I've chosen a designed for Windows screen ... mmh .. Useful to see developer's bugs on screen

This photo have been taken near the "AZF" machine wich blow up in 2001 in toulouse.
