Post by hounsell »

Got this in my inbox a few days ago. i honestly have no idea of what it is, but a bit of googling shows its to do with web servers.
Greetings Windows IT Professional

A Blade server is a stripped down server containing nothing more than a CPU and some RAM. They're designed to be used in environments where extreme computing density is required (such as cluster-based supercomputers, superfast servers or mainframes). They usually don't even have PSUs (power is provided by the enclosure).
More info.
