I am turning one of my older computers into a File Server for reasons that dont really apply. (No it isn't pr0n or warez)
But one the people that will be using it isn't connected to my network and lives in another town nearby.
So what would be the best and most secure way to share the files.
I was thinking passworded HTTP or FTP but I want to know what you all think.
Thanks

FTP will be the best way. Make it SSL encrypted and you're sailing. FileZilla makes this very easy. You can restrict incoming and outgoing bandwidth etc too if that makes life easy for you.
