Hey Guys, I just installed Windows 10 1 week ago, and got rid of all of my Downloads because the computer got slow. Now I have one BIG problem, I deleted Virtual Time Machine: A application used for VirtualBox and VirtualPC to change the BIOS date on a Virtual Machine. Now that this is gone, I now have nowhere to go with installing Windows Betas that depend on certain BIOS dates (ex: Whistler), I don't want to end up changing the date on my PC.

If you know where VTM is, please show me!
Also, if you know how to Detimebomb the Betas, please reply on the topic!

Thanks!

Le Collection Book has a page dedicated to changing BIOS dates: http://www.thecollectionbook.info/infor ... ios_dates/
For detimebombing, there is TweakNT 1.21, but good luck finding that.

I saw TweakNT 1.21 somewhere on DeviantArt. Try searching there

Huh. Weird location for TweakNT.

Anyways, does TweakNT work for Memphis, Millennium and Chicago, or is it just Windows NT, 2000, XP+.

As far as I know, No. TweakNT only works on Windows NT based operating systems up to some post-reset build of Longhorn.

To detimebomb 9X based versions, you patch a file but can't remember which one

I think it's DOS and 9x because 9x/ME didn't "completely" run on MS-DOS. Also, DOS based betas (1.0x-3.11) didn't need to be detimebombed because they were minor releases (Except for 3.xx). 9x/ME betas needed a certain BIOS date to run, so the file you need to patch might be for 9x/ME betas.

Great! Do you think you know how? Or is it just deleting the file?

IO.SYS is the most important file in MS-DOS, it's the first file booted after MBR is done. For Memphises and Millenniums, replacing that file with the one from 95B/95C/98/98SE/Me should work.
