PCem-X is my fork of PCem.

It has the following PCem lacks:
- Ability to set the time and date backwards so timebombed software (eg. Beta's) can be run without modifications;
- Proper fallback to interpreting code by the dynamic recompiler in case of emulating 286 or 386;
- Much better floppy support (and still evolving, going to support FM/MFM-encoded bit streams and even .IPF via the CAPS library), including 3-mode FDC emulation (and upcoming proper loading of XDF flopy images);
- Cirrus Logic CL-GD 5436 and 5446 emulation (still work in progress);
- JEGA graphics card (found in Japanese AX machines with hardware Japanese support) (still work in progress);
- Ne2000 emulation thanks to TheCollector1988 (doesn't work in Windows 10 Build 10036 until WinPCap gets updated);
- Support for VHD hard disk images (still work in progress);
- Support for keyboard scan code sets 2 and 3 (still work in progress);
- Chips and Technologies SuperEGA emulation.

In addition, it has some fixes to EGA emulation (according to the datasheets), as well as S3, and starts up correctly on i7 machines.

At this moment it doesn't.

What? It *DOES* emulate a CD-ROM drive, you just need to specify a physical drive to mount the inside the guest, you can't mount an .ISO.

Also, this means that you can select a virtual drive like Daemon Tools and mount .ISO files externally.

maybe this updates will be incorporated in the oficial PCem release?
or these releases will be different?

While OBattler tries to push as much as he can back into PCem, PCem-X has a few things that have yet to be pushed back due to incompatibility, or the refusal on the part of the original developer to implement them.
