Windows 1.01 Demo...
It doesn't need installation - launches from floppy. (it's on my server for those who are interested)

Oldest I've installed (in Virtual PC) is 1.01, while the oldest I've installed on a real computer is 3.11 for Workgroups. Oldest I have a genuine copy of is a retail box of "Windows for Workgroups 3.1, workgroup upgrade for Windows 3.0 users", while for Dos I have version 3.3 boxed

Update: Windows 2.1

Edit: BTW, This is pretty obvious but I'm going to make this clear. They MUST be Windows copies. Even though Microsoft did make some, NO DOS.

Windows 3.11 for WorkGroups

From my Packard Bell 1994 Master Restore Disc

Then Windows 98 Upgrade CD / Second Edition Updates
Since January 2005, I've been in the Operating Systems Prototype Community. I've enjoyed learning more these past four years about the development of the Windows and Macintosh operating systems, as well as learning of new user-based projects that optimize system performance.

Could you upload it somewhere, please?

If you're interested in foreign-language versions of 3.1/3.11/3.11 for Workgroups then I think I may have a load on some MSDN discs - I think I only gave you some 95 versions before, not 3.1 - the 3.1s are in a much older set of MSDN discs that someone gave me quite a while ago. I won't be able to get them for about 6 weeks though, if you are interested in any of them.

- Vista Ultimate R2: Well, I still need Windows 3.1 Dutch, Swedish, Thai, and Turkish, then any European Portuguese Windows 3.x'es, and any international Windows for Workgroups 3.1's (and yes, I mean 3.1's).
If you have any of those, please upload them (and take your time, I can wait).

I'll have a look for you when I've got access to the discs then - there may be some of those versions in there.

I'll also have a look, there's a chance my MSDN discs are keeping these.

I have only one legal hardcopy: The XPHome that came with my notebook (but I don't use it). Anyway, here barely anyone bought any software before the mid-late 90's, 'cause no one gave a sh*t, whatever you pirate, until BSA formed here.

I own (unless I've forgotten any ):

MS-Dos 3.3 and 5.0 boxed, 4 and 6.2 just the discs

"Windows for Workgroups 3.1 - workgroup upgrade for Windows 3.0 users" box
Windows 95 Upgrade boxed
Windows NT 4 Workstation boxed/full, shrinkwrapped/never opened
Windows Vista Business boxed full version

1x Windows 95 (original I think) OEM (just manual/key, no disc as yet)
2x Windows NT 4 Workstation OEM sets (manual/key and discs), 2x NT 4 OEM discs with no keys
3x combined Windows 95/98 FE manuals/keys (must have been when 98 had just launched and some people wanted 95, like some want XP today), no discs
1x Windows 98 FE OEM set (manual/key and disc)
1x Windows 98 SE OEM disc (no key)
1x Plus! 98

Various 3.1, NT 3.5, NT4, 95 versions on MSDN discs.

As you can see, most of them are just bits that I've found in various places - I'm currently on the lookout for a 95 disc and 98SE manual/key, in order to make up some more complete legit sets
