Here is a useful program called DLL Archive:

This program is for searching all the dll files to recognize wich dll file is a

system file and wich is its utility,if you want, you can delete any file that you

recognize that is not a system dll file, especially when you didn't unistall

correctly a program and if you think that you deleted it accidently, you can

restore it again.

I reccomend using this program because it is very easy to use for any person who

wants to delete unwanted extra dll files that are not important for your Operating

System.

here is the link to download it:

A brilliant tool for completely stuffing your Windows installation. Keep your install disc handy, chances are you'll need it.

I agree with OG.

These kind of programs can totally render you're installation unbootable or unusable.
If you use this program it's at you're own risk, be warned and be ready to reinstall you're computer after running this program.

What is the criteria for deciding what DLL is necessary? That should be known before downloading and using.

if you want to know more about the program you have to go to the main page of www.anlogx.com or ask to someone who is especialized in this.

Even the most insignificant DLL can have a major connection to a vital DLL. I would recommend leaving DLL's.

DLLs are named DLLs for a reason. A program might not need it now, but when you install a program that [censored] about a missing DLL, putting it back is gonna be a PITA.
