I have Ubuntu 8.10 and I have recently installed it inside Windows 7 on a different partition, I now have 3 partitions:
1. SYS (C:\)
2. Data (D:\)
3. Ubuntu (O:\)

When I boot my computer it doesnt display the OS selection screen, it just auto-boots into Win 7. I want to add a boot entry or something, How would I go about doing that?
Or should I just install it from the Live CD?

Thanks
Mattarnster

Did you install ubuntu after or before windows?

If you installed it after then you need to reinstall GRUB (or LILO), if you didn't then it sounds like you need to reinstall it anyway, a quick google will pull up some answers.

Try looking at using EasyBCD, which works the best for dealing with the Vista/Longhorn/7 BCD. You will probably want to consider installing Ubuntu from the live cd and putting the GRUB loader onto your root partition, then use EasyBCD. Anyways, I doubt you'd be able to use EasyBCD with Wubi, but check it out, because it is a useful program: http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 You will probably want to use the most recent EasyBCD beta in 7.

If you installed Windows after Ubuntu, install NeoGRUB.
If you installed Ubuntu after Windows, run grub-install
