Well I am glad to announce my first OS leak, the Wii Linux OS called Miight, which has never been publicly released. It has improvements over the last Wii Linux with a graphical interface (xwhiite). In order to use Miight you need to have the Homebrew Channel installed, and a SD or USB storage device using the appropriate config file. A USB mouse may be used but that is what the Wiimote is for ;).

To anyone with a Wii have a good time :P

Great! Normally I wouldn't add a release such as this to the BA archive since it's first and foremost a "hack". But since it's a new custom OS for a console I think it qualifies =).

Could you perhaps give some info about the release so I can tag the archive properly? Such as version/build number, date or compile or any other relevant info? Thanks.

And great leak =).

Thanks :p, the creator doesn't label... anything so what you see is the exact build version. Date being the 8th of Feb 2009.

The install process is put everything in the root of the sd/usb that will contain the image (only put the sd or usb file depending on which you used). and use the dol to load it as a live cd.

OMG! Thank you zamadatix! I use mywii a ton, so this will definetley be useful. Are you a beta tester or did you happen to find this leak somewhere else?

EDIT: Is it possible to load the .dols from usb drive. I heard that the HBC is not compatible with that.

It's not dol its elf, you may just want to use the app called "boot it" to mount it as i know that works. Also the elf would go in the homebrew directory :p.

Long story on how I got it though...
