Location Barnoldswick, England
Favourite OS Longhorn
I have created expanded on a Bootable Version of Windows
3.1.
This is Available at /Operating Systems/Windows/Windows 3.11 Bootable/ on Andys Download 2 Server
The following changed I have done are -
The update of a CD-Rom Driver using vide-ccd.sys
Added to use 1.64MB Format on 1.44MB
Implemented RAM Drive to use 5Mb as HD Space but can be changed in WIN.BAT.
Created 2 Versions one with Paint and the other Without Paint but with NTFS Support
Removed Options for Help and Links to "Dead" File on the OS using ResHacker.
Allows the Saving of Setting by copying INF Files to Location on Floppy Disk and Restoring.
Updated OS to Windows 3.11 and Added Y2K Fixes and Calculator Fix.
Updated MS-Dos Version to 7.1
Updated Certain Icons to Windows 95 Style
This is a List of Improvement Which I Need Help With
To allow More RAM to be used than 256MB as most Machines use more than this. This can be done with allocation more space, but this is not a fix. I have been given info about using files from MINI.CAB on Win 98 Disk but cannot get working.
USB Support to allow Booting from a USB Drive or Viewing Files from a USB Drive
To allow Internet Access to work or Network Support if possible.
And more Programs but still boot off a Floppy Disk.
Thanks in Advance for any help

Just 1 question, why is there one version with paint and one without? Is there something in paint that stops NTFS from working?
Here is some info that I hope you can use for your improvements
Also for networking you need Windows 3.1 with networking or 3.11, TCP/IP needs Windows 3.11.
Norton Ghost has a USB driver for DOS, however it does not map the drive letters...
Questions:
1) How did you change "Windows 3.11" to "Windows 3.11 Bootable"? I wanted to do this for my custom-made Windows 3.11 installer tool.
2) Rapidshare dosen't work for me, can you put it on filefactory or email it to me (asiekierka@gmail.com)?
