So I've been reading a bit on OS/2 and that made me curious since I've never seen any, has it ever been sold preinstalled on laptops or even desktop computers? I can't seem to find much information on that, mostly only about eComStation which doesn't really interest me, since there doesn't seem to have lots of things new and all, thanks!

OS/2 is made by IBM, so look for ThinkPads. They were supported up to T43 and were preinstalled with OS/2 in, for example, http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:701C

Damn, that's pretty sweet, were they the only laptops that came preinstalled or supported by OS/2 then?

I'm not sure, but since it wasn't that popular, I'd say yes.

MS-DOS 3.30a & Windows/386!
Thinkpads for sure. But they were setup with DOS/Win in dualboot with the windows as the default.

There was no interactive menu, unlike NTLDR. So many people I knew with thinkpads didn't even know they had OS/2. I remember one person wanted me to help them to install it, to only find out that after they'd bought a copy of OS/2, it turned out that they already had it, pre-installed!

IBM divisions operate almost like independent companies. And the division that ran the PC's didn't care in the slightest about the OS/2 part.

Between 1994 and early 1995, German computer chain Vobis used to sell PCs with OS/2 preloaded on them.
