Hey, I'm wondering what people here use to emulate Apple II or Apple IIe home computers. I've found a large amount of Apple II abandonware and I'm not sure what is the best emulator (in terms of accuracy of emulation) to use, as I do not own an Apple II or IIe personally. If anyone has any suggestions, please shoot them by me :)

Thanks :)

Look at this site and do some research, I can't speak for the emulators listed as I use an Apple IIc for all my Apple II needs.

Applewin is the one most people use, personally I use it too, but mess is getting there and it support a few add-on boards (especially for the //e) that no other emu does

Every time I see someone emulating an Apple II, they seem to be using Applewin so that is probably the one I would suggest if I had to. However there are many choices and if you have time to you could always try a few and see what you like.

I will try out AppleWin, but i'll also try out some of the other ones mentioned on that page.

Again, thanks.

Applewin is one of the best appleII emulators available for windows platform. But it does not emulate a
cassette tape drive. You may try Agat Emulator. It's also very good.
