Hello.
Did you know, that Windows Phone versions before 7 were actually able to run 32-Bit desktop executeables?
Heavily restricted, but some programs such as 7-Zip actually worked.

The platform you are talking about was actually called "Windows Mobile" and aside from a similar name and the Windows CE core used by both it had nothing in common with "Windows Phone" and it certainly couldn't run "32-bit desktop executables" because all these Windowses have actually little in common with the desktop version. The application still needs to be specifically written for Windows CE/Mobile in order to run.

MS-DOS 6.22
Files had exe extension but were not 32bit executables. They were most likely Windows CE based ones.

Edit: the same thing for Nokia E71 and symbian s60.

WP is basically an arm base.

The exe file you are talking about is basically the Intel CPU base.

Therefore, the EXE file is not operational

We look forward to the recent ARM on Windows project
