I know this question may sound Noobish but I have found some links to a compressed longhorn http://www.katzforums.com/showthread.php?t=197594 its probably fake but I just want to know your verdict on it.

Dumbest thing I've seen, you simply can't do that.

Not even that compression they use to make dvd's worth of data games way smaller eg like 2gb down to 100mb on piracy sites my friend was telling me about could do it you would need a hell of a efficent compression algorithim.
I looked into it to prove this:
Edits were made as more info came to light.
Edit: Lol its just a song and some other stuff. Nickelback Photograph is the song.
Edit2: Got password and extracted contents and its the song a read this another rar and some other file the other rar is 1mb and has a 700mb file in which is corrupt i bet and a 1mb file called setup.exe the 700mb one is an iso. Iso is intact inside will try in virtual machine setup.exe is clean well the seperate one will try iso out now.
Edit3: Virtual machine is just sitting there with blank cursour my guess is that is all it can do so no it is fake.
At least I got a copy of Nickelback Photograph although they spelt the song name wrong.
