Hi,

Surfing around, i found some (extremely old) information about a "Microsoft Windows Longhorn Win Hec 04 Service pack 2" .. anyone heard about that, or seen a download somewhere.

Link (look at post from alphaadd.): http://www.aeroxp.org/board/lofiversion ... ?t517.html

It must be custom made by someone, just adding some tweaks, removing timebomb etc...

It's a 'Service Pack' made by AlphaAddict including fixes for Longhorn 4074 along with special effects and his applications to enhance certain features such as enabling Desktop Window Manager in a GUI Window than typing it in yourself in a command prompt.

It's a 4074 Modification Patch, later became the 'TrueLonghorn Patch', of which I have the most recent version of 2.6 I think.

Not an XP or Vista hack. Swift was correct in what he said.

Longhorn 08 was separate from LHR (Thankfully) and done much later.

I believe I do still have the Beta 2 Installer though :)

Joejoe has had a lot of fixes: The Customisation Pack, R2, True Longhorn, Longhorn SP2, etc. They're all largely decended from the same thing.

With Longhorn 08, we did round up all the fixes from the other packs and included them.

This will...

* Have Windows load the kernel into memory (if more than 1gb ram)
* Enable SuperFetch (allready enabled for Longhorn, but not for XP)
* Enable LargeSystemCache
* Adjust Prefetcher to maximum performance

Hey, i dont know where is the problem.

I can't install the build 4074, 4074 repack, Longhron Reloaded.

Blocked at the begining of the setup, wont load the dvd's after the loading of the kernel and pre environnement(press f6 for driver).

Do you have the solution ?

The kernel is loaded after the Press F6 string. It looks like it is hanging on NtDetect.

Yes, its this problem, i got this:

on the build 4074 x86: bloked on the first boot screen "code name longhorn"
on the build 4074 repack: blocked at the blue screen after the copy of all file needed for begin the install "Windows Setup" say "Setup is starting Windows" and the cdrom stop and stay on this screen.
on the build LH Reloaded: same on the repack version.

Damn, is so sad, the 1st time i get this problem.
