I've installed Java 1.6.0 U14 x86 and x64 on Windows 7 7201 x64, and whenever I try to load an applet or a java-based app, my system slows to a crawl, and the applet/app won't work. Has this happened to anyone else, and is this characteristic to 7201, or all Win 7 Builds?
Thanks!

I haven't experienced that issue...my inital response would be that its related to 7201...I just upgraded to 7229 and it's light years better than 7201...considering 7201 was supposed to be an internal RC2, i was quite disappointed by the quality of it...seemed more buggy than most leaks we have had...

nick, I used Windows 7 7201, until I yesterday night, installed XP Pro, Its 7201. It lags on everything, Steam, IE, Firefox, etc, I recommend upgrading to a newer build. 7201 isnt a good one.

Ditto. I went from 7137 to 7201 and was very disappointed. I've even started having random BSODs, I think i get them when my laptop goes into standby mode from inactivity. 7317 was a great build.
