Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for posting these links, but we already have a lot of topics about Windows 7 and the related build, so I'd apreciate it if you could take a look at and post in those rather than creating a new topic in future.

Remember to read the rules and enjoy your stay!

In responce to the poll, i'll definatly be buying windows 7 ultimate aswell as getting it through my technet account as I like the shiny holographic discs and the box art. Also, I feel more happy to use the OS if its genuine. It was the same with windows vista, I got the ultimate edition of vista when it was released (actually I won it but, yeah...) and I felt more happy to use it knowing it was genuinly obtained. :)

Well, I have been using Windows 7 x64 since build 6801 and I will definitely use it when it go to RTM. As for buying it, maybe not, but I will be using it anyway. If you know what I mean.

I don't know. I might just see if I can get my old Vista key back from MSDN or something when the RC expires. Or else I might see about getting the last pre-RTM build, once it goes RTM.

Either that or I'll wait until I buy a new box. We've not shelled out for a new 'full' copy of Windows since the release of Windows 95 at home.

I'll be buying a boxed copy of Vista Ultimate when it's hit RTM.

Rare for me to buy a boxed copy (I usually OEM or MSDN), but because of the ease and stability Windows 7 has been since the first leak, I've decided to do it.
