I used to be able to run VPC '07 fine under 7100 but now after installing a update I get this :x

ADD: Nm, I got it to work by renaming it, this concerns me quite a lot this could be microsoft's newest method of making people buy/pirate there new software, I'm gonna try installing office 97 if that runs on x64

ADD, Again: It installed and worked fine,

I'm sure the above is an isolated issue. I've always found that Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 x86 cut off my Internet connection and I had to replug it in when installing, but apart from that I don't see what the critical issue talked about is, so yeah, in this case it might be trying to get users to upgrade to Windows Virtual PC

Are you trying to use the x86 Virtual PC on x64 Windows?

I would be surprise if they put a hard block on it just because they are Microsoft.

Why don't you just use the newer Windows Virtual PC?

Why don't you just disable the program compatability assistant...

No need to point it out, it is obvious mewrox99 got that suggestion from Windows OCManage. I do hope that by default the compatability assistant at least ALWAYS allows the option to continue anyway.

It doesn't matter what the program compatability assistant does and doesn't allow, just disable it...
